National Work Life Week (7-11th October 2019) is an opportunity for employees and employers to take some time to focus on well being at work and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Research shows that almost one third of UK workers reported they have a poor work-life balance and 38% of UK employees admitted that a bad day at work affected their personal life.
Do you struggle to maintain an appropriate work-life balance?
Here at CMCBP, we conducted some of our own research. We asked people what they do to manage their work-life balance.
49% of people said that prioritising work tasks was something that helped them maintain a good work-life balance.
43% of people also said that taking time for yourself is an important factor.
New research reveals that 43% of people surveyed felt they did not have enough flexibility in their jobs, and the data we collected show that flexible working hours are a popular means of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
This Work Life Week we encourage you to focus on your personal wellbeing as well as at work and concentrate on what helps you manage your work-life balance.
