She is a BPS Chartered and HCPC registered Occupational Psychologist. She is passionate about using the science of psychology to help people and organizations understand how to reach their goals. She is a scientist practitioner which means she uses an evidence-based approach to her work, using evidence from academic research and practitioner experience.
Clare is an accredited coach. She regularly coaches leaders and executives from a wide range of industries. Her coaching is based on academic theory and coaching best practices, and she can adapt her approach to support leaders’ unique needs. Clare will provide a confidential space to allow reflection and thought, but also a space to challenge the coachee and help leaders face their concerns and also thrive in their careers.
Clare believes in the strength of reflective practice for leaders and enjoys supporting leaders in developing their self-awareness and building strategies for their ongoing reflexive work. Self-awareness can assist leaders in building their confidence, resilience, and focus and coaching is ideal to create the space for leaders to develop their awareness.
Clare also specializes in neuropsychology, bias, and decision-making, and helps leaders understand how to develop their mindset to be more inclusive and to challenge their bounded awareness to help build relationships, strategic thinking and decision-making.
Clare works with organisations and individuals in different areas of organisational behaviour including team and leadership development but she has specialisms in certain areas which are her research and practitioner focus.
Clare’s coaching specialism in career development and transition in older workers. She helps individuals and organisations support longer life career management and age friendly workplaces. Her Doctorate research was in older workers career transitions, exploring why people leave organisational roles to create contemporary careers.
Clare’s practice and research is about helping build inclusive workforces that meet the demands of the changing and future workplaces. She provides consultant support to HR leaders to assist with developing workforces and HR strategies to meet the future strategic needs of their organisation and industry.

Chartered Business Psychologist is given in recognition of attainment against the ABP Business Psychology Framework for knowledge, skills and experience of applying Business Psychology in organisations.
Clare is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a practitioner Occupational Psychologist. Only those registered with the HCPC can use the title of ‘Occupational Psychologist’ and are subject to meeting the standards of proficiency as part of the profession.Clare is an accredited coach and holds a certificate in executive coaching and mentoring from ILM. She is a member European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) to support her professional development and learning.Clare is also a senior lecturer working with different universities, and also works part time as co-programme director for part 1 of the Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck University of London. In her role as programme director, she supports Psychologists who are ‘Practitioners in Training’ to achieve their academic success and to enable them to reach the standard for HCPC registration for ‘practitioner psychologist’.
