Some questions asked by participants were as follows:
Q: How do you ensure that there is alignment between organisational goals and individual goals?
A: 1) communicate organisational goals 2) ask yourself how you can achieve what the organsation needs 3) how can you link what is important for you to doing what is needed for the organisation?
Q: What one thing would you reposition in your role and how would you go about it?
A: Firstly determine what you like and what you do not like about your role, keeping a diary and writing these daily helps with this. Finding a mentor and/or building your social capital and building your network are also great starting points.
